Hi! I’m Hannah Wymer, PLMHP
As a resident nerd and DM, I know how video games, TV shows, movies, books, and more can benefit a person’s personal journey and help their mental health. There is a wide range of roadblocks such as life factors, major changes, and a chaotic world. With mental health difficulties on top of it all, life in these early years can feel overwhelming and hopeless.
Working to integrate those interests that are already involved in your life can make the therapy process more beneficial and more fun.
Finding the right therapist for you is vital. Schedule a free 15-minute consultation! This gives us the opportunity to get to know each other and for you to ask questions, along with seeing if it’s the right vibe. Afterward, we can schedule our first session, or I can happily give you referrals for someone who might be a better fit!
15-Minute Consultation
1:1 Counseling
I provide a wide range of therapy approaches, creating the best treatment plan for each client. I’ve found that the evidence-based techniques of Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Art Therapy to be the most universally beneficial.
Specialties
I specialize with clients who may be struggling with anxiety or depression related to school, stress, burnout, and life stressors. During our initial sessions, we will do a deep dive into the issues at hand and collaborate on creating a plan and goals that get you pointed in the direction you want to go. Most clients see a gradual lifting of symptoms in the first month, with continued improvement.
D&D Therapy
Calling Adventures to come together into an unknown fantasy land and fight against great evils and practice therapy skills. The BBEG is social anxiety, and the solution is practice (and in-game combat, of course).
